Day 1: Arrive Wellington
On arrival at Wellington Airport, you will be met and transferred by private car and driver to your hotel.

Day 2: Discover Wellington
This morning we’ve included the best attractions and must-see landmarks with Hammonds City and Coastline tour. Take in a beautiful 360° view of Wellington from Mount Victoria, experience the rugged South Coast, and explore quaint villages throughout the city. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 3: Wellington – Picton – Kaikoura
This morning cruise across Cook Strait on the Interislander ferry. On arrival in Picton collect your rental car and drive to Kaikoura.
Day 4: Kaikoura – Christchurch
Kaikoura is home to an abundance of marine animals and one of the few places in the world where you can see Sperm Whales so close to shore. We recommend a trip with Whale Watch Kaikoura to view the Whales. (own expense and pre booking is recommended). This afternoon continue to Christchurch.
Day 5: Christchurch – Mount Cook
Depart Christchurch and travel over the Canterbury Plains, through Burkes Pass and the Mackenzie Country to Mount Cook.

Day 6: Mount Cook – Queenstown
Today travel through the middle of the South Island and over the Lindis Pass to arrive in Central Otago, renowned for vineyards, orchards and some pretty special views of the surrounding mountains, before reaching Queenstown.

Day 7: Discover Queenstown
A full day at your leisure to explore the many sights and activities available in Queenstown.

Day 8: Milford Sound Day Excursion
A day trip to Milford Sound is a touring highlight. Enjoy beautiful scenery before arriving at Milford Sound, where you will join a cruise and enjoy lunch on this magnificent sound. On conclusion, travel back to Queenstown.

Day 9: Queenstown to Christchurch
Today return your rental car to Queenstown Airport. Fly from Queenstown to Christchurch (flights are not included and are at your own expense).
On arrival at Christchurch Airport you will be transferred to your hotel. We’ve included a pass on the Christchurch “Hop on Hop off” bus. Take in the historic sights from the top deck of a double decker bus, this pass is available for 24 hours.

Day 10: Depart Christchurch
Today you will be transferred from your hotel to Christchurch Airport
