sea-lease. Guides accompany guests all the way and show the process of culturing pearls from
collection and spawning of oysters in our hatchery through to harvesting and the final product,
stunning pearl jewellery.
A demonstration using a live pearl oyster is given to reveal the technical and complex operation

The Dampier Peninsula is a delight for travellers seeking a real Kimberley experience that is culturally rewarding in a beautiful environment.
As we journey north, travellers will learn about the area’s fascinating place in Australia’s history.
Enjoy morning tea in the Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community, home to the Sacred Heart Church and its glimmering pearl shell altar.
Completed in 1918, this ‘Mother of Pearl Church’ is inspired by German architecture and a team of Aboriginal women worked under the direction of a German priest to decorate the interior with mother of pearl, cowrie, voulte and olive snail shells to create a unique mosaic that features the totum symbols of the Nyul Nyul, Nimanborr and Bardi people as well as Christian symbols.
We then travel on to the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm. Established in 1946, this is the only working pearl farm open to the public, Cygnet Bay offers an introduction to the history and cultivation of the world’s finest pearls during an in-depth Pearl Farm Tour.
Relax and enjoy a delightful lunch prepared by the chef at Cygnet Bay’s licensed restaurant, overlooking the turquoise waters of King Sound.
After lunch, head to the One Arm Point Aboriginal Community. Enjoy a refreshing dip at Jologo Beach, spot dolphins and turtles from the Round Rock viewpoint and tour Ardyaloon Trochus Hatchery & Aquaculture Centre, perched right on the tip of One Arm Point overlooking the impressive Buccaneer Archipelago, witnessing the huge tidal flows of the Kimberley – the largest in the southern hemisphere!

Enjoying a full commentary, we begin in Chinatown hearing fascinating stories of this colourful precinct. Learn about the ancient art of pearling from one of the local pearl producers, Cygnet Bay, and enjoy a historical sound show at the famous Sun Pictures, the world’s oldest operating open air picture garden (now listed in the Guinness World Records).
We take a drive through Old Broome to view typical Broome architecture and old Pearling Masters homes then view the aqua waters of Roebuck Bay at Town Beach and learn of Broome’s One Day War. We then stop at Matsos Broome Brewery to sample their hand made ales and famous ginger beer (complimentary tasting included). Afterwards, visit the tranquil Japanese Cemetery and take an easy paced walk at Gantheaume Point known for dinosaur footprints and the story of Anastasia’s Pool.

Day 6 – Ord River Explorer with Sunset
Cruising the 55km to Lake Argyle, you will marvel at the spectacular scenery, wildlife, flora, and fauna found along the way, including the elusive freshwater crocodile! Remaining on the boat at the base of the Ord Top Dam, you will cruise back towards Kununurra, stopping for afternoon tea at our riverside camp.
Scenic photographers will appreciate the contrast in colours as the light changes the way the gorges and ranges look on the return journey. We will return you to your Kununurra accommodation at around 6.00pm after enjoying an East Kimberley sunset on board the boat.

Day 10 – Kakadu National Park & Jumping Croc Cruise
Join us on the adventure of a lifetime as we uncover the very best Kakadu has to offer. We leave tropical Darwin travelling through the rich floodplains towards Kakadu National Park, this 20,000 square kilometre area is teeming with wildlife, important Aboriginal rock art sites, and diverse landscapes.
Our first stop on the Jumping Croc Cruise on the Adelaide River. a truly exhilarating and unique experience get up close and personal to some of nature’s most aggressive and dangerous wildlife located in the naturally occurring waterways of the Northern Territory.
We’ll stop in at the Bowali Visitor Centre and Murrawuddi Gallery to learn more about the rich Indigenous culture and history of this special place and break for lunch (at the guest’s own expense). We’ll visit the famous *Cahills Crossing in search of crocodiles at this eye-opening stretch of water, the only road access point between Arnhem Land and Kakadu National Park.
Visit the World Heritage Listed, sacred site Ubirr rock art. Home to some of the oldest and best-preserved rock art galleries in the world. Dating back some 20,000 years and discovering the hidden secrets with a guided walk.

Journey with us to the Litchfield National Park, home to some of Australia’s most spectacular and stunning waterfalls. Enjoy the breathtaking views, iconic magnetic termite mounds and crystal-clear pools.
If you’re a keen birdwatcher, then come immerse in the wetlands of Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve. Home to an abundance of native wildlife and fascinating rare birds.
In this Litchfield National Park Tour, guests will have the opportunity to journey through some of Australia’s most diverse landscapes, sandstone pillars, panoramic floodplain views, picturesque waterfalls, and the bustling plant and animal life.

Day 1 – Yulara (Dinner)
Fly into Yulara, where your Australian outback adventure begins. A small town at the southern end of the Northern Territory, Yulara is your gateway to Uluru-Kata Tjuta World Heritage National Park. Make tracks across sunburnt plains to the captivating domes of Kata Tjuta, large red rock formations believed to be about 500 million years old where you will do a walk into the “many heads”.
Continue to Australia’s most iconic landmark, Uluru. Arrive in time to witness a magical sunset. Watch Uluru change colours as the sun sets below the horizon, then continue to your camp where a hearty dinner awaits. Choose to bunker down Aussie-style and sleep in a cosy swag (bedroll) beneath the star-studded sky, or catch some shut-eye in a permanent tent.

Day 2 – Uluru Sunrise and walks (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Wake early to catch an unforgettable Uluru sunrise, then get a closer look at this massive sandstone monolith on an unguided walk around its base. After your stroll, walk to the cave paintings near Mutitjulu Waterhole, where you will be met by an Anangu Aboriginal guide. Your guide will shed insight into the ancient rock etchings and the stories they tell, as well as the traditions of the land’s Traditional Owners.
Next, visit the nearby Cultural Central to browse its extensive collection of Aboriginal arts and crafts.
After lunch set off on a three-hour drive to your exclusive campsite within Watarrka National Park. (Kings Canyon). Get acquainted with your surroundings, enjoy an on-site dinner and settle in for the night.

Day 3 – Kings Canyon (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
After breakfast, pull on your hiking shoes and set off to explore Kings Canyon. Plunging 270 metres/885 feet to the canyon floor, walking its rim reveals incredibly beautiful sandstone formations carved by wind and water.
Discover its Amphitheatre, Lost City, North and South Walls and the surprisingly lush Garden of Eden, which owes its cycads and plant life to a permanent waterhole down in the canyon.
After lunch, there’s time to relax for a bit before heading along an iconic Red Centre dirt track to the Western McDonnell Ranges.

Day 4 – Western MacDonnell Ranges (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Spend the afternoon exploring the outback scenery of the Western Macdonnell Ranges. Visit one of the most photographed places in the Red Centre, Ormiston Gorge. Keep your eyes peeled for rock wallabies while admiring the colourful, sweeping walls surrounding its waterhole.
Continue to Ellery Creek Big Hole, a popular spot for a refreshing dip.
After a satisfying day spent exploring the MacDonnell Ranges, your tour leader will find a suitable place to set up your bush camp for the night.

Day 5 – Eastern MacDonnell Ranges (Breakfast, lunch)
Often overlooked for its western counterpart, the Eastern MacDonnell Ranges just might be one of the outback’s best kept secrets. This is the home of the Arrernte people, the Traditional Owners of the land. Learn about their caterpillar dreamtime story on a short walk to Emily Gap, an important spiritual site to the Arrernte people containing galleries of ancient rock paintings.
Drive to Trephina Gorge, where you’ll set off on a one-hour guided walk to see its quartzite cliffs and rich birdlife.
Afterwards, it’s time for lunch; grab a bite at the historical Ross River Homestead before continuing to the ‘Ghost Town’ of Arltunga where you’ll learn about the mistaken gemstone that lead to a mining rush here in 1887, and also precipitated its abandonment. After exploring the best of the Eastern MacDonnell Ranges, it’s on to Alice Springs where your camping adventure ends upon arrival in the late afternoon.

Day 10 – Darwin to Arnhem Land and Jabiru (Lunch, dinner)
There’s no time to waste today, so let’s get cracking at 7.00am and hit the road to Wulna Country, where your Limilngan-Wulna hosts, the land’s Traditional Owners, will greet you with a Cul Cul or ‘Welcome to Country’. Learn about their culture during bush tucker talks and didgeridoo and basket weaving demonstrations.
Continue to the border of Kakadu and Arnhem Land for a Guluyumbi cruise along the East Alligator River with a Bininj guide. Learn about the cultural importance of the East Alligator River to the Bininj people and take in the tranquillity and rugged beauty while you search for the varied wildlife.
Back on land, jump in a private vehicle and drive to Arnhem Land’s Mawurndaddja. This sacred complex (only recently opened to visitors) has a spectacular series of rock art that research indicates is over 50,000 years old. Spend the afternoon exploring this atmospheric site and learning about its history from your guide.
Head to Kakadu for an overnight stay.

Day 11 – Kakadu National Park (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
After fuelling up with an early breakfast head to Jim Jim (or Gunlom) Falls, Kakadu’s most iconic natural attractions. Take a challenging walk through monsoon forest and over boulders, then recharge with a cooling dip in the clear waters beneath the falls.
After lunch head to Anbangbang, another incredible site that features ancient art on what was originally Warramal land. Sadly, there are no surviving Warramal people, so the care of the site is maintained by the neighbouring Mirarr and Djok communities.
This afternoon, you have the option of taking a scenic flight over Kakadu or visiting the Bowali Cultural Centre.

Day 12 – Kakadu National Park (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
After breakfast head to either Gunlom Falls or Maguk (Barramundi Gorge) for a swim in another pristine waterhole. Maguk flows down the steep walls of rugged gorge into a beautiful natural plunge pool, while the steep climb to the Gunlom Falls plunge pool is rewarded with sweeping views of Kakadu and the welcome shade of gum trees. Neither option will disappoint.
After a relaxing morning, it’s time to hit the road again. Stop in the old gold-mining town of Pine Creek for lunch before continuing for another three hours to your private campsite on the doorstep of Nitmiluk National Park.
Once comfortable, have dinner with the group before settling in under the stars for the night.

Day 13 – Nitmiluk National Park to Litchfield National Park (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Spend the day exploring the deep Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge and greater Nitmiluk National Park, a wonderland of colours, ancient rock art, waterfalls and wildlife. While here, you can explore on foot or choose to take a cruise or rent a kayak to get a closer look. Keep in mind that these optional activities and at your own expense.
In the afternoon travel to Edith Falls, a hidden oasis of clear, cool waters surrounded by bronze boulders. After a quick swim in the huge rock pools continue to tonight’s camp located at the edge of Litchfield National Park, where dinner awaits.

Day 14 – Litchfield National Park – Darwin (Breakfast, lunch)
After breakfast head to Litchfield National Park. A bit of a local secret, Litchfield is awash with tropical rainforest, gorgeous waterfalls and crystal-clear waterholes.
Visit Florence Falls, Wangi Falls or Bluey Rockholes, then tuck into a picnic lunch.
Enjoy a stroll through the steamy rainforests and refreshing dip in one of the park’s gorgeous swimming holes.
In the afternoon, make the 2-hour drive back to Darwin.
