Depart Perth Airport on your hour and a half flight South
Departing Esperance airport drive towards town. You’ll be taking a de-tour out to the Great Ocean Drive tourist loop, driving along the coast and some of Esperance’s
stunning beaches. Great Ocean Drive (Esperance Tourist Loop) The Great Ocean Drive is a 40 kilometer circular loop drive taking in some of the most
beautiful coastal scenery Australia has to offer. The sheltered, pristine beaches with their crystal clear waters and snow-white sands, including the popular Twilight Beach, are ideal for family swimming, surfing, windsurfing and fishing. Also included in the drive is the Rotary lookout, the Western Power wind farms, Observatory Point and the unique Pink Lake. A walking and cycling trail from the Rotary lookout to Salmon Beach is a pleasant way to see the sights. The Drive (or Tourist Loop) is 40km long following the local coastline west from

Taananeditj Trail – Walk on Country tour at Taananeditj (Dempster Head) Dubungool Delivers Cultural Awareness, Education and Experiences in Kepa Kurl Nyungah Boodja (Esperance). Forage for coastal bush foods – Follow the Rotaru Walk Trail and excite your senses with the seasonal plants and bushfoods along this beautiful, elevated trail. This relatively gentle walking trail has spectacular views of the town and the bay, as well as a panorama from the top of the hill that cannot be beaten,class 2 walk trail. 1.5 hours.

Located on the shore of Esperance Bay in Western Australia. The Quarters is a family-run restaurant specializing in fine food using the freshest local ingredients our chefs can source. We also serve coffee & cakes, beer, wine, and a darn good cocktail. This beautiful old building has a rich history. Originally the Wellard hospital south of Perth, the building was dismantled and sent by boat around the Capes of Western Australia to start its new life in Esperance in 1931 as the Esperance Hospital. When a new hospital was built in the ‘60s it became the Nurses Quarters, and was finally relocated on the beach to be a tearoom’s in the 1980’s. Caringly renovated in 2017 the beautiful Taylor St Quarters
building gracefully emerged as Taylor St Quarters, a family-owned and ran restaurant specialising in contemporary Australian Cuisine.
