Day 1 – Friday
After being greeted by your Guide, it’s time to leave the city behind and prepare for four days of bliss and adventure. Pop into the quirky Crooked Carrot Café & Farm in Myalup for morning tea with a twist. It won’t be long until we arrive at heaven on earth, Meelup Beach. After a beachside picnic of fresh local produce, it’s time for the first yoga experience of the tour and OMG, it is a great one! Meet legendary local yogi and founder of the South West Yoga Fest – Heather Starr, for a session of SUP yoga. Yes, that means yoga on a stand-up paddleboard! After a beach introduction to the floating yoga studio, anchor down. With the sky above you, sea below, surrounded by nature, sun and salt, what could be more blissful?
Many laughs later and feeling energised, it’s time to embark on a 2-hour hike to Cape Naturalist. Part of Leeuwin-Naturalise National Park, this hike features incredible vistas and will have you in awe at every turn. After a seriously fun workout, indulge with a decadent chocolate cookie and coffee at
Gabriel Chocolate, where they transform the humble raw cacao bean into delicate goodness.
Take a short drive to Fair Harvest, where our glamping tents will await. Located in the quiet natural surroundings of a permaculture farm, this unique property features food gardens, a Farm Cafe, Yoga Barn and forest walks.
Day 2 – Saturday
Start the day with a gentle Yin Yoga session followed by a nutritious breakfast. Visit the eclectic Margaret River Markets to collect yummy local fresh produce for later. Then it’s time to immerse yourself into the boundless natural beauty of the Cape to Cape Track on a half-day hiking experience led by local holistic healer Dan. He will help us re-centre through mindfulness, ritual and ceremony, and guide us through a unique Shamanic Light meditation. After a beach picnic and swim, return to join natural beauty guru Marita in a workshop to indulge your senses and create some gorgeous natural products to take home. During a Natural Skincare workshop, make your own mud-based face mask, and using essential oils, create your own 30ml Luxury Glow Serum. You’ll also make some beautiful Body Moisturiser bars to help nourish your skin.
Tonight’s dinner will be prepared by local identity Sarina The Spice Mistress. Sarina will guide you through a Spice Masterclass and prepare some flavoursome food whilst you gain a unique insight into the healing properties of spices.
Day 3 – Sunday
This morning, balance yourself during a Hatha Yoga session and glam up for an afternoon of tantalising your taste buds around the Margaret River region. Visit iconic vineyards for wine and cheese tastings and enjoy some free time to wander the main street of Margaret River, discovering its eclectic mix of boutique shops and galleries. Choose from one of many great cafes to grab lunch and watch the world go by.
This afternoon visit the Margaret River Distilling Co. for a ‘Tour and Taste’ experience at Ginaversity. Sip on four flavours of gin with garnishes as you soak up the knowledge from passionate gin creator and Manager of the venue, Ben. Complete the day with the culmination of fresh local produce that we have collected along the way—celebrating health and new friendships on our last night together.
Day 4 – Margaret River to Perth
By now, you are feeling like a new and improved version of yourself, but a sound meditation session with a local healer will take you to the next level. Sound healing has ancient roots in cultures all over the world, including Indigenous tribes who have used the didgeridoo as a sound healing instrument for over 40,000 years. After this uplifting experience, we’ll pack up camp and head off for the final experience of the tour. Meet Tim & Cree at One Table Farm & Cooking School for a tailor-made sourdough making demonstration to learn how to make the perfect sourdough and all of the stages to get there. Relax over lunch, tasting a variety of breads and farm to plate organic produce. Take a walk around the sustainable farm they have created from scratch, and hear their wonderful story. Feeling inspired and satisfied, it’s time to jump on the bus one last time for our journey back to Perth, arriving around 5 pm. Namaste.
