The Blue Mountains NSW
The Blue Mountains is a magical place any time of the year. Glowing in autumn, cool in winter, colourful in spring and refreshing in summer. The Blue Mountains is densely populated by oil bearing Eucalyptus trees. The atmosphere is filled with finely dispersed droplets of oil, which, in combination with dust particles and water vapour, scatter shorter wave-length rays of light which are predominantly blue in colour. The Greater Blue Mountains was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2000 and was one of 15 World Heritage places included in the National Heritage List on 21 May 2007.
There are many activities in the Blue Mountains region which makes it a destination in its own right. The regions around the Blue Mountains provide a number of experiences, such as exploring the Jenolan caves as well as adventure, walking trails, restaurants, wildlife and stunning scenery. There are also exceptional accommodation options for people on a budget right up to six star resorts, such as The One and Only Wolgan valley.
A scenic 2.5 hour drive from Sydney, located on Australia’s Great Dividing Range between the Wollemi National Park and the Gardens of Stone National Park, within the World Heritage-listed Greater Blue Mountains. The resort occupies just one percent of its own 7,000 acre conservancy. The Wolgan Valley is approximately 26 kilometres long and seven kilometres wide. The Wolgan River cuts a deep gorge through the sandstone in part of the valley, forming a bottleneck that is only one kilometre wide. Steep cliffs contrast with the gentle curve of the valley floor and a picturesque road winds along the river to reach the resort on the eastern end.
SOAK UP THE BEAUTY OF ALL YOU CAN SEE. UNCOVER THE SECRETS OF WINTER IN THE GREATER BLUE MOUNTAINS.
As the autumn leaves fall in Australia, Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley transforms into a magical winter wonderland where nature comes alive.
Breathe in the crisp mountain air, curl up by roaring fireplaces, embark on a wildlife adventure, indulge in an after-dinner gin tasting or simply gaze at the star-filled sky. Do as much or as little as you please, as we celebrate the very best of the winter season.

STAR AT THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE
Available till End of March 2019
Be a diva at the Sydney Opera House with your very own walk-on role.
Have your hair and makeup done when you hear your half-hour call. You’ll be dressed in a costume fitted especially to you. Be on stage with the chorus at the Sydney Opera House – the world’s most famous building. The footlights glint in your eyes as you take your place in performance. Be surrounded by the sound of fifty people singing in perfect harmony, the power of the human voice ringing out over a crowd of 1500 people.
This is opera from the star’s perspective, and tonight, the experience is all yours.
A walk-on role with Opera Australia lets you explore so much more than the stage. You’ll visit the Opera Australia studio and a costume dresser will fit you with a handmade costume. The Assistant Director will take you through what happens on stage – when you need to be still, when you need to be a star. On the night of your performance, you’ll enter the Sydney Opera House house via stage door and report to hair and makeup to have your show make-up and wig applied. Then, you’ll mount the stairs to the stage to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience, while someone you love watches from the auditorium.
You’ve always known you’re a star. Now let the world see it!
