  • This Private Experience is available to depart from either Sydney, Newcastle or Hunter Valley.  Please let us know where you are staying and we will confirm pickup details.

    Sydney departure: 8.00AM: Depart to Lovedale, NSW

    If your group is departing from Sydney, you’ll meet your AEA Luxury Tours guide 8.00AM at a prearranged central meeting location or accomodation for a private drive in the comfort of a Mercedes sprinter van. It’s a safe, effortless way for you to have a day of tastings, both wine and spirits, without having to worry about driving yourself around.

    Hunter Valley Departure: 10.00AM

    If you're staying in the Hunter Valley, your group will be picked up at your accommodation at approximately 10.00AM.

    First Stop for both departure points

    We are off for your first tasting of the day: an array of soft cheeses at Binnorie Dairy in Lovedale. Established in 2003, this local business serves up feta, brie, washed rind, and buche de chevre. All cheeses are made on site, and you’ll get to learn more about the processes and procedures of the operation. The cows and goats are all Hunter Valley locals, ensuring fresh results.

    10.30AM: Lovedale to Pokolbin

    The region is home to 150 cellar doors—too much to cover in a day trip. We have curated some fabulous cellar doors for you to visit where you can learn more about the winemaking process, and indulge in some included tastings.

    Arrive at your lunch destination, Café Enzo located in a Tuscan inspired village among eclectic sandstone buildings in the heart of the Hunter Valley. With its unique ambiance and enchanting courtyard you are invited to relax and let the world drift away whilst feasting on Italian delicacies with homemade and locally grown produce. 

    Our final stop of the day is at the Hunter Distillery where you can sample up to 6 of the flavoured gin, vodka, or liqueur. At Hunter Distillery, organic and local ingredients are a priority for this operation, the only one of its kind in the region. a fantastic way to end the day! We suggest trying the award-winning Copperwave gin as part of your sampling.

    3.30PM: Tour Concludes

    After a lovely day of catching up with friends and family, as well as meeting new tastemakers, we’ll return you to your accommodation in the Hunter Valley or get you home to Sydney around 5.00PM.
