Happy New Year !
Australia is Open for Business
Its been a turbulent start to the New Year for Australia and hopefully we are through the worst of it. We started the year with news of devastating bush fires impacting many people in Australia and now the Coronavirus concerns globally.
The good news is, most of the fires are now either out or well under control. This weekend in Sydney we are receiving the most rain in a two day period for 9 years and it has fallen all over the fire areas. As a result of this we will be discontinuing our bushfire updates. In many areas forests have begun their regeneration phase and are already producing some amazing scenery as seen on this link.
It must be remembered that many areas and most tourist areas for international tourists were not impacted at all . Areas like Kangaroo Island are coming back to life after one third of the Island had fire impact. Following strong boarder controls Australia is minimally impacted by the Coronavirus .
As a result of some of the occurrences above we have seen some great price reductions from some properties.
Following the demise of Wel – Travel Australia and the subsequent appointment of Australia and Beyond Holidays to take over forward unpaid bookings of the former agent, we have had many customers of Wel – Travel contact us and we are working to minimise the impact of the collapse as well as forging new partnerships with ex Customers of the failed firm. Thank you all for your support and the continued relationship. We have also been delighted to appoint former employee Lisa Hrastovec to the Australia and Beyond Holidays team. Lisa is based on the Gold Coast and would be delighted to work with you on your group and FIT business. Please contact Lisa direct on email@example.com
